This is a suggested packing list for summer camp.
Not every scout will use all of these things.
Clothing (name marked on each item)

Class A Uniform (Official Shirt, Official Shorts, Belt, socks) (no
neckerchief or slide, No Nametag) Be sure to have all the proper
insignia. Bring a clothes hanger to hang
up the uniform shirt since you will have to wear it every day for dinner and
flag ceremony.

Troop T-shirts (Red, Green, and Gray - or whatever the current
colors are.)

3-5 other t-shirts

3-5 pairs of shorts

1 pair long pants

wind breaker

2-3 pairs of shoes (tennis or hiking) - open toed shoes are NOT
allowed in camp, except on whitewater rafting trips and the like

Rain Gear (A MUST!!! IT WILL RAIN SOMETIME DURING THE WEEK)

sheet, but need a sleeping bag or blanket for when it is cold at night)

Flat sheet for warm night. Single bed size.

Prescription medicine (provide written dispensing instructions).
Discuss with troop leader BEFORE departure.

Packing

Trunk that will keep contents dry and secure. Plastic "Bathtub"
type is best. It is good if it is low enough to go under a cot.
Should be strong enough to support being used as a chair, table, or ladder!

Combination lock for trunk (write down combination and provide to
Adult in charge). This is optional. Leave valuables at home!
