bulletTimebomb - Pediatric Stroke - This educational video is intended to increase awareness of stroke in children. bulletNational Jamboree - In 2010, the Boy Scouts of America will be celebrating its 100th anniversary. There will be many opportunities to celebrate. One of these will be the National Jamboree. Start thinking about attending…Follow this link to get a glimpse of what its all about - http://www.scouting.org/jamboree/2010/.  More info about how you can be a part of this will be available later this year!

bulletAdvancement Changes - For important information about changes to Boy Scout rank advancement effective January 1, 2008, visit the BSA web site.

bulletScout Parents - The National BSA office has launched a web site aimed specifically at parents of scouts.  Visit the site at http://www.scoutparents.org/ .  And be sure to check out the Public Service Announcements for scouting at http://beta.bsalegal.org/scouting-video-283.asp.  Some of these are really entertaining!

bulletTransportation Forms - A completed transportation form (Excel format or PDF format) must be on file for each family for a scout to travel to scouting activities with adults other than their own parent(s). It is important that we have current information regarding your vehicle so if you've completed a form in the past, chances are something has changed since you did. If you have completed and submitted this form VERY recently or if there have been no changes, e.g., vehicle, insurance coverage, etc.,  no need to do it again. New scout families for this year will all need to complete this form. Please return these forms to Scott Taylor at the next troop meeting, email scottmtaylor@comcast.net or regular mail - 5561 Clinchfield Trail, Norcross, GA 30092.

bulletRead about the troop Master Camper Award!  Be the first person in the troop to earn this coveted award!  You can apply activities you have already completed during your entire participation with troop 525.

Are you getting email messages about troop activities?  If not, you aren't on the list! Please email Linda Edwards [lindaedw@bellsouth.net], to be added.
